OnDeed simplifies complex property processes for Australia’s leading home lenders, trustees, and portfolio managers.
The platform’s end-to-end workflows streamline everything from property valuations to legal repossessions, sales and ongoing property management. With built-in maintenance and compliance features, OnDeed delivers a seamless digital experience – accessible anytime on desktop or mobile – fully tailored to each client.

The client’s legacy platform – formerly known as Portfolio Solutions – came with critical system limitations and significant user pain points including:
•Lack of centralised and secure communication and file management: Stakeholder and property records were shared via email, phone calls, and in-person conversations – creating a fragmented and unsecured workflow with poor traceability and data security.
•Manual processes and no automation: Every task required manual handling, even for highly sensitive data. Not only was this inefficient and time-consuming, but also introduced significant risk for human error, legal exposure, and costly consequences.
•Outdated user interface: The platform’s UI was significantly outdated, contributing to poor user experience and inefficiency.
•Old and rigid system infrastructure: The existing platform was built from outdated technology and inflexible systems, causing various limitations in scalability, performance issues, and difficulty in incorporating new features.

This opened a significant opportunity to build a platform from the ground up – one that not only resolved existing challenges but also introduced new and enhanced workflow solutions.

Key enhancements delivered in the MVP included:
•Multi-stakeholder onboarding and user management
•Advanced property creation and management capabilities
•Comprehensive data and financial reporting
•Automated workflows with job and task tracking, status updates, notifications, and reminders
•Dynamic portal configurations tailored to stakeholder roles, user types, service offerings, and property locations
•Detailed activity history log, capturing all user actions and field-level changes
•Centralised file sharing and document management
•Real-time messaging and internal commenting features
•Strengthened portal security with two-factor authentication (TFA), session timeouts, and advanced role-based access

This project was a collaborative effort between OnDeed’s internal team, various stakeholders and end-users of the OnDeed portal, and eNoah’s design and development solutions team.
I led and managed the design stream of the project from initiation through to delivery, with responsibilities including:
•Client-facing design consultation – collaborating with OnDeed to identify workflow challenges and define effective solutions.
•Design project coordination – guiding designers and software engineers within my team.
•Facilitating stakeholder workshops and feedback sessions across multiple project phases.
•Managing project priorities and overseeing delivery timelines.
•Defining product requirements and producing design assets for both design and development teams.
•Developing end-to-end workflow diagrams, UI concepts, high-fidelity prototypes, and detailed product user guides.
•Conducting user testing sessions across key stages.

The full design journey from concept through to MVP commenced at the very end of 2022, and spanned approximately three years, culminating in a successful MVP launch in April 2025.
